*eggvertising*
Now there’s one less blank space not filled with an ad. CBS is laser-printing the shells of eggs with promotional messages for their fall lineup. The copy is, well, horribly punny. Here’s a sampling of the awful headlines:
Jerico - Unbeatable humor
Smith - Professional poachers
The Amazing Race - Scramble to win
CBS Mondays - Funny side up
CBS Mondays - Leave the yolks to us
CSI - Crack the case
The Class - New grade-A CBS comedy
How I Met Your Mother - Find your chick on CBS
Shark - Hard-boiled drama
Like I said, the copy is inexcusably punny. It’s actually an interesting media buy for delivering time-oriented messages, with frequency that adds up over the course of a week. Once people get past the groaner puns that CBS resorts to, there might be a good use of this space.

Reklam överallt. Affischer, uppoppande fönster, busshållplatser. Nu rapporterar New York Times att CBS (det amerikanska Tvbolaget) planerar att etsa in reklambudskap på äggskal! (Via texturl). Mediet är naturligtvis intressant, den stora frågan är om äggen för den skull blir billigare.
