*color me laughing*

Feluxe has posted a a coloring book, which was supposedly done around 1978 by Leo Burnett was printed in the 1960s under the title The Executive Coloring Book (thanks Clayton). It’s remarkable how up-to-date the humor still is. I guess client relationships really haven’t changed that much at all in 40 years.

What really got me rolling was the last page, which had a letter that was greeked with ad buzz words:

Futhermore impactful consumer insights consequently breakthrough creative. Idea generation product promise psychographics flavor enhancement entertainment value photo-matic.

Target audience social betterment production values thus brainstorming. Budgets, postings, conference reports and conference reports. Meaningful uniqueness heretofore clutter subsequently nonetheless.

Subjective mainstream communication instant gratification brand loyalty. Made from scratch, but prepared attribute-driven. Maybe coupons simultaneously. Reach brand equity frequency focus groups consensus.

With best regards to Mildred and the children.

Note: According to Clayton, the version posted on Feluxe has been edited quite a bit from the original (which is up on eBay right now). I’ll post the “real” version if and when I can find it.
