Beauty, truth, and rarity
Grace in all simplicity,
Here enclosed in cinders lie.
I'm feeling, in all honesty, a bit like a phoenix today. I finished another semester of teaching (and its evil twin marking) on Friday. Additionally, Trudy and I finished sending out invitations to our wedding. All weekend and Monday and Tuesday, I was recovering from the stress and the illness it caused: I felt like I was in a fog of sorts.
And then, today, I have returned to the schedule that I pitched several weeks ago. First and foremost, that means a return to blogging and writing. I have, unfortunately fallen out of a practice of writing and reading, but that will soon be repaired. I noticed several entries in Adrian's blog that I've thought alot about and will blog in the coming days. And I'm sure I'll happen upon more great stuff as I play catch up over the next few days.
God, old routines sometimes feel like comfortable clothes. You know?
